Magic: 2. Drop Shadow
This
effect is used to enhance the appearance of text and various
shapes.
Step

Select
File / New from
the menu and create a new image.
Click
on the Background color
and select white. Use Color
picker 
and hold Shift to pick the background color from the
image.
Click
on the Selection tool
and use the mouse to draw a selection rectangle. |

Click
on the Text tool
and type "Photo Magic". We used Zodiastic
font, 36-point, blue, for this example. |

Select
Effects / Drop Shadow
from the menu.
Experiment
with different parameters for the desired effect (we
used default values in this example), and click OK. |
